How long is a typical display?
Displays range from 5 – 7 minutes for a private event such as a wedding to 20 – 25 minutes for a city event. Shows typically feel longer than they are, such that a five minute show will feel like it was 10 – 15 minutes.
What is the cost?
The cost varies substantially depending on the location and sophistication of the choreography. A fully computerized pyromusical can range from $2,000 - $10,000 per minute. Keep in mind you may be able to offset costs with parking revenues, vendor participation, and corporate sponsorships in exchange for advertising.
How long do I have to plan in advance?
Local permitting and choreography demand several months lead time. The Fourth of July is typically fully booked many months in advance.
Can I pick the music?
Yes. We offer songs that work well with fireworks but are open to any musical accompaniments you may suggest. The best music for fireworks is dynamic, with a wide range of emotional tone.

Lakeside Pyro Arts is always looking for qualified field operators, particularly for high demand times. Applicants must have completed a PGI certified training course prior to applying and undergo screening through the BATF.
